Hormuz is an ancient port city based in southern Persia. This city was once an international trading centre who's sea and land trade routes spread across Asia, Africa and Europe. It was also a destination for world travellers such as Marco Polo who described it as "the a city of immense trade" where "Merchants come with ships loaded with spicery and precious stones, pearls, cloths of silk and gold, elephants' teeth, and many other wares". Hormuz is where our forebears had originated from and traded since the 1600s. Over the ages our family had developed considerable expertise in trade which has been handed down over generations. Hormuz Trading Company is a traditional business that believes trust is the foundation of doing business and reputation is always paramount - just as our ancestors intended.
